Andy
Behaviour Practitioner
Andy is a local and compassionate behaviour support practitioner with over a decade of experience working in education, specialising in behavioural, social, and emotional support for young people with complex needs. He has spent more than ten years as a secondary teacher, where he designed and implemented learning and behaviour plans for students with ASD, ADHD, trauma backgrounds, and emotional regulation challenges, working closely with families, guidance officers, and external services.
Andy brings a strong foundation in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), trauma-informed practice, and data-driven intervention. He is currently completing postgraduate studies in Psychology, further strengthening his ability to deliver evidence-based, person-centred support aligned with NDIS best practice.
Andy is known for his calm, relational approach and his ability to translate behavioural theory into practical, everyday strategies that work for participants, families, and support teams. Andy currently has capacity to accept new PBS referrals in the Cassowary Coast region
